Hollywood
Guests enter the park through a romanticized version of Hollywood. Here, guests can feel like they're the stars of their own show, and even see some Hollywood-level entertainment and attractions.
After walking past the iconic spinning globe and beneath the gates, guests find themselves in a square area. Here, they can shop at the park's largest gift shop, Universal Studios Store, on the right, and find help and services at Studio Hall on the left. In the center of this square is a statue paying tribute to Universal's legacy. It features a fountain with King Kong, Woody Woodpecker, Frankenstein's Monster, and the Minions, being filmed by the founders of Universal. Going down the street towards the central lagoon, guests pass by Studio Express, Animation Station, and the Universal Theater, where guests can watch the Movie-Making Magic show, where many practical effects are revealed, all of which are found on the left side. On the right side is where guests can shop at The Darkroom, dine at Blockbuster Bistro, and eat at the Hollywood Brown Derby Restaurant, found on the right. Between these two restaurants is a passage to a large amphitheater where WaterWorld, the acclaimed stunt show, plays. On this road are stars similar to the walk of Fame, but instead of celebrities, the stars have the names of people who worked on the park.
When guests finally make it to the water's edge, they will find the viewing area for nighttime entertainment. Here is where the road splits. They can turn left down Music Street or go right to Illumination Avenue. On Music Street is where guests will find Mel's Drive-In, a 1950's-style burger joint, as well as a stage where musical acts would perform throughout the year, next to which Box Office Snacks can be found. Going further will take guests to London.
Going right will take guests down Illumination avenue. Here, guests can eat at Minion Cafe, a restaurant themed to the Minions. Closeby is a recreation of Gru's house, where guests can ride Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem. The ride exits into Minion Mart. Also in the area is Bake My Day and Banana Bay Market. Going further will take guests to Sci-Fi City.

So I wasn't planning much for this area. I was just looking at a Main Street, but since this is Hollywood, I decided to throw in some behind-the-scenes stuff too. While this may be a miscellaneous area, I tried my best to make it good. Hopefully the rest of the park makes up for it.
